WaveFixupTmpFile( '.mytempwave.WAV' ) failed to open file for editing Unable to rename d:\games\Steam\steamapps\mutual\Team Fortress 2\tf\.mytempwave.wav to d:\games\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\replay\customer\rendered\movie_path\audio.wav!
    • Information technology is possible to work around this bug by manually saving an empty .wav file (signed sixteen bit, stereo, 44100kHz) named ".mytempwave.wav"to the user /Steam/steamapps/mutual/Team Fortress 2/tf location with a WAV file editor. The workaround will need to be performed each fourth dimension a picture needs to be saved.
  • Some viewmodels may announced incorrect or not announced at all in beginning-person mode. Some particle furnishings may likewise not be rendered.
  • Replays which take place in maps with more than than ane lite source may appear overlit if the last map played has uniform lighting.
  • Upon creating, editing, and watching a Replay and then joining a lucifer, no in-game text chat or voice commands will be displayed until the player opens the text chat box.
  • The Administrator'southward responses in a Replay care for Reddish equally the marry and BLU equally the enemy, regardless of the Replay owner'southward team.
  • Ragdolls in a Replay may fall or move differently each time the Replay is viewed and/or edited.
  • The replay can be uploaded to a YouTube account before the business relationship has an upload channel configured. After the upload finishes, a message indicating a connection problem is displayed.
  • Kills made past Scout Guns belonging to the Replay's owner are not counted on its statistics.
  • Occasionally, if the owner of the Replay uses a Dead Ringer during its length, the Replay will end when their feign decease activates.
  • Sometimes, if you slow down or speed upward fourth dimension and change the view to kickoff person, then alter the time again, the speed will stay the same as if the time wasn't changed. Changing the view to tertiary person or freecam usually fixes the problem.
  • Servers running on Halloween issue maps with Replay enabled won't show the Haunted Halloween Souvenir model or particles when it's received past a thespian.
  • Critical striking sound cues aren't played in Replays.
  • When starting a replay with Boston Smash-Bringer, all of the boombox sounds will play at in one case.
  • If a replay starts while a Heavy has his Minigun spun upwards, he will appear to not take it spun upwardly fifty-fifty though it will still burn down albeit with a glitchy sound.
  • When using tedious motion, the backstabbing action is out of time and the victim dies and with a delay the pocketknife action is played.
  • Recording in Pyrovision, and so watching a replay in Pyrovision can reverse bodies and point them in the opposite direction, with their weapon firing the way information technology did on recording.
  • Switching from third person view to first in the Replay edit tool tin brand the agile weapon disappear for a 2d and and so appear.
  • Occasionally, decals (Careful Objector, Photo Badge, Sprays, etc.) and paints will not announced in replays.
  • Since YouTube's API is no longer updated in Team Fortress 2, you can no longer log in to upload a replay to YouTube.
  • The replay system does non work on workshop maps due to how workshop maps are named.
